Foremost Municipal Library The Foremost Municipal Library opened in June, 1987 to serve the Village of Foremost and the surrounding community. Ask for information if you are interested.

The Foremost Municipal Library is a member of the Shortgrass Regional Library System. This allows members access to borrowing privileges in all of the member libraries: Alcoma, Bassano, Bow Island, Brooks, Duchess, Foremost, Gem, Graham, Irvine, Medicine Hat, Redcliff, Rolling Hills, Rosemary, Tilley. Multilingual Books
Books in various languages may be borrowed through the library. Interlibrary Loans
- within system - bi-weekly courier delivery of requests
- outside the system - access to all of Alberta

Word Processing
Use our computer for your word processing and print projects. Summer Reading Program
- during July and August
- reading game, story times, contests, fun and prizes

Movies
- Blu-ray and DVD
- many titles available for children and adults

Audiobooks
- over 150 in the collection
- A wide variety is available for physically or visually handicapped patrons. Ask the librarian for information. Free Internet access
- public internet computers available

Pre-school Story times
- each Thursday from October to May at 10:45am
- 45-60 minutes of stories, songs, fingerplays, crafts, etc. Loan Periods
Books, magazines, audiobooks, TV series on DVD- 3 weeks
Movies - 1 week
Overdue charges will apply after these loan periods.
