Some summer memories stay with you forever.

This summer, Glory got to experience something truly unforgettable: seeing live in concert. But the night became even more special when Flo Rida came right to Glory’s seat, held her hand, and sang alongside her.

And as if that moment wasn’t already incredible enough, he gifted Glory one of his signed shoes to keep as a special reminder of the night.
It was a beautiful moment of connection, joy, and inclusion that Glory will never forget.

Thank you, Flo Rida, for taking the time to make Glory’s night so incredibly special. Your kindness meant more than you may ever know.

Community Living - Fort Erie wants to recognize Joe and the leadership he has shown as part of our recruitment team.

Joe expressed an interest in being involved in the recruitment process because he wanted the opportunity to advocate for himself and other people supported by Community Living - Fort Erie. Joe took the initiative to make his involvement meaningful. He developed his own interview questions to help learn more about each candidate and arranged his own transportation so he could attend interviews and take an active role in the process. During interviews, Joe asks thoughtful questions and considers each candidate’s skills, values and approach to supporting people. His perspective brings an important voice to the hiring process.

Joe’s involvement helps ensure that the experiences and perspectives of people supported are considered when new team members are selected. His contribution is a great example of the impact that meaningful inclusion can have within an organization. We recognize Joe for his initiative, commitment and leadership, and for the time and effort he has put into being an active member of the recruitment team. His contribution is valued, and we are proud to recognize the important role he plays at Community Living - Fort Erie.
