Fort Frances Chamber of Commerce The Chamber of Commerce for Fort Frances, Ontario. We have a membership of approximately 150 businesses throughout the Rainy River District.

Since 1909, the Fort Frances Chamber of Commerce has been active in a wide range of activities relating to the various social and economic needs of the district. Our membership has been steadily increasing, over the past few years, and we anticipate it will continue to grow.

Downtown Fort Frances - Scott Street and the surrounding area, also known as the Great Canadian Mainstreet - plays an important role in our community. It is where people shop, work, meet friends, attend events, and support local businesses.

A new Business Recruitment & Downtown Revitalization Committee has been formed to help attract new businesses, support existing ones, and make downtown an even more vibrant place to visit.

Together, we are asking residents across the Rainy River District to share their ideas by completing a short survey.

Your feedback will help us better understand:

• What businesses people would like to see downtown
• What would encourage people to visit downtown more often
• What improvements could enhance the downtown experience
• What types of events or activities the community would support

The survey takes about 3 minutes to complete, and your input will help guide future business recruitment and downtown improvements.

Comment and tell us what you enjoyed at the Chamber Expo 2026! Thank you to all the visitors to the Chamber of Commerce Community and Businesses Expo. Thanks also to Rick of the Curling Club, Chem Free Committee students and parents, our vendors and businesses, Donna Lowey, Haylee Foy, Catrina Cairo, Melody Sinclair for their great presentations, Barb E and Kathy T for you help at the welcome booth, Heather for your amazing organizing skills, Redrum Treaty 3 Club for the Bike rally and Motorcycle Trick Riding performance, Talk on the Street for your good food, and everyone who helped support this event to help make it successful!
