Join us on May 28 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at MNR Building for an informative session on how economic immigration pathways can help address your workforce needs. Experts from Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC), the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP), the Association des francophones du Nord Ouest de l'Ontario, and Réseau du Nord will share key insights on immigration pathways to address skilled labour shortages and employer support through settlement services for Francophone skilled workers. Watermain Flushing and Valve Turning Program

The Town of Fort Frances will commence the Watermain Flushing and Valve Turning Program starting May 19th, 2026. The area being flushed is indicated on the map within the orange border.

During the flushing process, your water may become discoloured. At no time will your water be unsafe for use. However, please be mindful if you are doing laundry, washing dishes or other like activities.

If your water becomes discoloured, run your cold water only until it clears. Please contact the Public Works Office at 807-274-9893 if you have any concerns or questions.
