A timely reminder for people heading to events and land travel further south on the Mackenzie Valley Winter Road.

If you’re heading out on the land, please exercise extreme caution when on the ice. Recent warm weather has made conditions unpredictable.

When you’re out on the land, make sure to tell others your plans, where you are heading, and when you’ll be back. Bring emergency supplies, including a way to communicate outside of cell service.
