River Monitoring Information
June 2, 2026 @ 4:00 pm
A High Streamflow Advisory remains in effect for the Oldman River.
Recent rainfall has resulted in higher-than-normal river flows. Residents may notice higher water levels, faster-moving water, and debris in the river.
No Major flooding is expected. Minor flooding in low-lying areas is possible.
Residents in flood-fringe areas (Lyndon Road and River Valley) are asked to use caution and remain aware of rising water levels.
All residents and visitors are advised to stay away from the river, riverbanks, and low-lying areas. Conditions can change quickly, and riverbanks may be unstable. Please keep children and pets well back from the water and avoid unnecessary presence along the river, including stopping to observe conditions or visiting out of curiosity.
