Alberta government is committed to reducing the incidence of FASD and improving the quality of life for those living with FASD

and their families/ caregivers. The NEAFAN team attended The FASD Métis Cultural Awareness Training through the Métis Nation within Alberta this morning. It was an interactive Métis cultural training that included the history of Métis peoples, the opportunity to learn about Métis culture, upbringing, and values, and reflection on Métis peoples' experiences with colonization. The staff even got to participate in some cultural crafts and jigging. What an insightful morning of learning!
