Founded in 1976. The prime purpose of the Activity Center is to promote wellness and fellowship through activities to all seniors in the RMWB.

The Fort McMurray Golden Years Society is a non-profit senior activity centre with the purpose of promoting wellness and fellowship for ages 65+ We focus on every aspect of our seniors and work hard to enhance and maintain the well-being of our members.

Thank you so much to the Junior Oil Barons who our members got the pleasure of playing bingo with. We Appreciate you coming out on your Friday night to hang out with us, bringing us prizes and yummy snacks. Our members enjoyed every minute of it and laughed at all your entertaining jokes. We can’t wait until you come back again!!!!

REMINDER… February 6th @6:30pm our Vortex U16AA Junior Oil Barons will be coming to our Golden Years Society Center to play bingo with our members that have signed up! We are at our MAX for attendees on our sign up sheet. If you have signed up and can no longer attend, PLEASE give our office a call so another member can join in! It should be a GREAT night with TEAM MOB and they will be bringingis us snacks and prizes to be won!! 🏒⛸️🥅 d

Our pool league has officially commenced. Every Thursday from 4:30-6:30pm at the Fort McMurray Royal Canadian Legion, which is also pasta night. The inaugural evening was enjoyable, and we invite you to join us next Thursday. Prospective participants must sign up before hand with Cristina Jennings - cost $5
