Here's the link to fill out the application for the upcoming Introductory Solar Energy Course happening here in Fort Resolution at the Community Hall on August 11, 12 & 13th online! Also, you can phone in your own: full name, email address, & phone number to Priyanka at (867)446-7026 and she will register you for the course & the educators will assist the participants in completing the application form on their first day of training.

A little bit about the program:

Sustainable North Our Workforce is offering five introductory courses-Solar, Wind, Biomass, Small-Scale Hydro, and Geothermal/Heat Pumps-are designed for mid-career diamond mine workers and NWT residents. The training promotes green energy use for homes, businesses, and communities, supporting careers in the growing low-carbon economy. Participants will learn about green energy applications, employment, funding, and education opportunities.
A $300 completion bonus is provided for each course successfully finished.

Tuesday, August 11th 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Wednesday, August 12th 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Thursday, August 13th 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
LUNCH IS PROVIDED EACH DAY!

THIS FIRE BAN PROHIBITS ALL OPEN-AIR BURNING WITHIN FORT RESOLUTION BOUNDARIES WHICH INCLUDES: LITTLE BUFFALO RIVER VILLAGE, LITTLE BUFFALO RIVER GOVERNMENT CAMPGROUND, MISSION ISLAND AND ANY OUTFITTERS OPERATING IN THE AREA.

THIS BAN HAS BEEN PLACED DUE TO THE ON GOING DRY AND HOT CONDITIONS THE COMMUNITY HAS BEEN FACING.

Good morning Deninu K'ue! We are hosting an invitational Regional Slow-pitch Tournament this weekend. We are excited to have Fort Providence and Hay River teams come join us with some players from Fort Smith. Here is the schedule of the tournament and we hope to see everyone out and cheer for the teams! Wishing everyone a wonderful and safe weekend.

Wednesday, July 15th, 2026 UPDATE:

GOOD MORNING DENINU K'UE! I would like to thank all the residents for your patience and understanding while we were fixing the issue's at the Water Treatment Plant. I am happy to report that the Water Treatment Plant seems to be working fine. Our regular water deliveries will resume!

Today Fort Resolution is issued a HEAT WARNING WITH DAYTIME HIGH TEMPERATURES NEAR 30 DEGREES CELSIUS COMBINED WITH OVERNIGHT LOWES. STAY HYDRATED AND SAFE DENINU K'UE!

Good morning Deninu K'ue! We are currently having issues with our Water Treatment Plant and as a result we are asking all residents to please conserve your water at this time. The issue is been dealt with and I will update once it has been resolved. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
