Effective at 12 p.m. PDT on Monday, Sept. 8, 2025, to prevent human-caused wildfires, Category 1 campfires will be prohibited across the Prince George Fire Centre. This prohibition applies to campfires as defined in the Wildfire Regulation. Category 2 and Category 3 open fires remain prohibited throughout the entire Prince George Fire Centre.

This prohibition covers all of the Prince George Fire Centre and will remain in effect until 12 p.m. PDT on Friday, Oct. 17, 2025, or until it is rescinded. Prohibitions apply to all public and private lands unless otherwise specified.
