The Bookit booking system makes booking interview times easy, especially for those with multiple children. Simply add all your children on the first page, select your child(ren)’s teacher(s) and choose your time(s). Make sure to press Submit on the summary page to book your interview. You will receive an email booking confirmation.

Parent-Teacher-Student Interviews will be held on March 17 and 18 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm. Interviews are scheduled for 10 minutes for an individual time with your child’s teacher.

Open house January 26, 2026 at 6pm for new Full Day Every Day Kindergarten Program for 2026-27

Parents and caregivers who are interested in the full-time (full day, every day) kindergarten program are invited to attend the upcoming open house about the new program.

A program fee of $350 per month will apply to the James Mowat full-time (full day, every day) kindergarten program. Families can choose to pay this fee monthly or annually.

Families can register their child in full-time kindergarten at James Mowat as part of the 2026-27 kindergarten registration process that opens 9 a.m. on February 1. To register for kindergarten in the 2026-27 school year, your child must be five years old on or before Dec. 31, 2026. Parents and caregivers are encouraged to apply for this pilot program by February 28. Families will be notified of their child’s acceptance into the James Mowat Elementary kindergarten program in early March.

James Mowat will also continue to offer regular part-time kindergarten programming as they have in the past. There will be a Kindergarten information night in the spring for those registered. https://www.eips.ca/programs-services/early-learning/kindergarten/information-nights

Hot Lunch - Orders Due Nov 29 at 11pm

We’re excited to share that we’re trying something new for our December 4 Hot Lunch — Noodlebox!

Ordering is now open, and the deadline to place your order is Saturday, November 29, 2025 at 11:00 PM.

Please be sure to get your orders in before the deadline, as late orders can’t be accepted.

Important: When selecting your meal, please make sure to choose a protein. If no protein is selected, your order will be submitted as a “no protein” meal, and this cannot be changed after the deadline.

Thanks so much for your support, and we hope your kids enjoy this new hot lunch option!

*We understand that this is the second Kindergarten Track A date in a row and we apologize! We will be making it up to Kindergarten Track B in the New Year, as well as our next Hot Lunch later in December will fall on their day*

McDonald's Happy Meal Fundraiser until November 23rd

We are excited to share that the new McDonald’s at 9401 Wilshire Boulevard officially opened on Friday, November 14! To celebrate, they are generously donating $1 from every Happy Meal purchased between November 14 and November 23 to support the James Mowat Playground Fundraising Initiative.
