COMMUNITY THANK YOU CELEBRATION

This Saturday, August 15, 2026, we’re coming together as a community to say Mahsi Cho to all the firefighters, organizations, and everyone who helped protect and support our community.

Come out to the Street Festival outside the Rec Centre starting at 1:00 PM!

BBQ, Vendors, Dragon Egg Demonstration, Fire Fighting Obstacle Course, Raffle prizes, 65 inch TV raffle (you gotta be there to win the TV), the Johnny Landry Band & Drum dance.

This is a chance for us to come together, show our appreciation, and enjoy some time together as a community.

Everyone is welcome! See you Saturday! Mahsi Cho to everyone who helped out.

Community Notice – Evacuation Order Downgraded to Evacuation Alert
➡️We are pleased to advise that the mandatory Evacuation Order for Wrigley will be downgraded to Evacuation Alert effective Wednesday, July 29, 2026, at 5:00 p.m.
➡️ Beginning at 5:00 p.m., residents will be permitted access through the Wrigley junction turnoff in Ft. Simpson.
➡️Please Note:
• Both ferry crossings will operate on their regular schedules. There will be no extended ferry hours. (https://www.inf.gov.nt.ca/en/ferries)
➡️Evacuation return flights from Fort Smith will depart Thursday morning.
• There will be 2 flights, with a maximum of 35 passengers per flight.
• Each passenger is limited to one (1) bag.
• Flight registration will begin on Wednesday, July 29, at 5:00 p.m. at the Pelican Hotel Lobby in Fort Smith, NT.

➡️Thank you to all residents for your patience, understanding, and cooperation throughout this evacuation. We look forward to welcoming everyone home safely.
