What a transformation! The incredible volunteer team at Liberty - New Brunswick once again showed their commitment to community in a big way, creating a beautiful and welcoming outdoor space at Jobs Unlimited. This was a substantial project, and the team went above and beyond by contributing not only the required skills, but also the infrastructure and resources required to bring it to life. We are truly grateful for your ongoing support of United Way and your community. Thank you for helping make this space so special!

Just in time for the grad party! 🎓 🎉

A big thank you to the volunteers from Scotiabank, Scotia Wealth Management, and Scotia Mcleod who spent a day at Youth In Transition, mowing, trimming and weeding to clean up the yard and gardens. Thanks to the team’s hard work the grads now have a beautiful space to celebrate their very special day.

We are grateful for Scotiabanks’ ongoing support of the United Way and their commitment to building strong communities where everyone has the opportunity to grow and thrive.

Period poverty isn't rare, it's a struggle many people in our community quietly deal with. People miss school, work, and make tough choices because they can't afford products most of us take for granted.

You can help change that. Donate unopened menstrual products throughout May at the United Way office on 403 Regent St Suite 119, Fredericton, NB E3B 3X6.

Nobody should feel embarrassed for needing a menstrual product. And yet many people with periods still face stigma or even bullying just for asking.

Silence and shame don't fix period poverty. Talking about it does. Donating does. Because when products are freely available, no one has to ask.

This Menstrual May, let's make it a little easier for someone in our community.

Donate unopened menstrual products at your nearest drop-off location or organize your own drive at your workplace!

Menstrual May is here, and we need your help! 🩷

Starting today May 6 until May 31, United Way Maritimes is running a menstrual product collection drive in partnership with United Way Cape Breton as part of our fight against period poverty across the Maritimes.

We're asking businesses and individuals to donate unopened menstrual products at drop-off locations near you. Every pad, tampon, and liner makes a real difference.

Donated products go directly to United Way-funded agencies and community organizations serving women, girls, transgender, and non-binary individuals in your community!
