Interior Designers of New Brunswick Self-regulatory professional body of interior design practitioners in the Province of New Brunswick.

The Association of Interior Designers of New Brunswick (IDNB), established in 1985, is the self-regulating organization governed by the Interior Designers Act. IDNB is committed to promoting and furthering the knowledge, skill and proficiency of its members, and the profession. As well as, administering the Interior Designers Act, in order that the public's health, safety, wellness and best intere

sts may be served and protected. IDNB upholds excellence in the profession by establishing stringent education, experience and examination standards for its membership. As well as, enforced continuing education and a code of ethics by which interior designers maintain their right to practice in the province of New Brunswick. On May 5th, 2017, Interior Design became a regulated profession when the amendments to the Interior Designers Act (the “Act”) passed by the New Brunswick Legislature came into effect. From that date, any corporation or person offering or advertising ‘Interior Design’ services and training or using the title ‘Interior Designer’ in New Brunswick is required to meet all the requirements of the Act and to be a registered member of the Association.

L'Association des designers d'intérieur du Nouveau-Brunswick (DINB), établie en 1985, est l'organisme d'autoréglementation régi par la Loi sur les designers d'intérieur. L'IDNB s'engage à promouvoir et à approfondir les connaissances, les compétences de ses membres et de la profession. Ainsi que, administrer la Loi sur les designers d'intérieur, afin que la santé, la sécurité, le bien-être et les meilleurs intérêts du public puissent être servis et protégés. L'DINB défend l'excellence dans la profession en établissant des normes strictes d'éducation, d'expérience et d'examen pour ses membres. Ainsi qu'une formation continue renforcée et un code d'éthique par lequel les designers d'intérieur maintiennent leur droit d'exercer dans la province du Nouveau-Brunswick. Le 5 mai 2017, le design d'intérieur est devenu une profession réglementée lorsque les modifications à la Loi sur les designers d'intérieur (la « Loi ») adoptées par la législature du Nouveau-Brunswick sont entrées en vigueur. À compter de cette date, toute établissement ou personne offrant ou faisant de la publicité pour des services, une formation en « Design d'intérieur » et/ou utilisant le titre de « Designer d'intérieur » au Nouveau-Brunswick est tenue de satisfaire à toutes les exigences de la Loi et d'être un membre enregistré de l'Association.

Some of our IDNB members were out and about over the last 24 hours for an exclusive Halifax experience with the amazing Chandler Sales crew — and what an unforgettable time it was! 🚌💫
