Pine Valley Housing Co-Operative, Limited (PVCL) is a 39 unit housing co-operative located in Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada. We are Fredericton's only housing co-operative and are a prime example of affordable housing in New Brunswick's capital city. Founded in the 1980s, Pine Valley was made possible by a dedicated group of founding individuals and a mortgage provided by the Canada Mortgage
and Housing Corporation. The 39 units are comprised of two, three, or four bedroom townhouses, which house individuals, couples and families of all ages and sizes. As a co-operative, all members agree to participate in the management and general operations of the co-op. There are several committees on which we participate to ensure the needs of the co-op are met. Major decisions of the co-operative are voted on by the resident-members during General Meetings which happen four times a year.
