The Fredericton Arts Alliance Artist in Residence applications are now open!

Apply to create in the Barracks surrounded by Fredericton's history for a 2-week term. Is there a better way to spend your summer than in the heart of downtown pursuing your passions?

Deadline for the Artists In Residence program is May 1st at 4PM.

There is an honorarium, you do get money for being there, and creating.

Any artist of any discipline located in the Greater Fredericton Area may apply for one or two weeks. The Barracks location provides the option for collaboration as 2 artists will be in the space from Monday to Saturday. That space is available for a 10 week period. The second option is the chance to work solo from Picaroons in one of 4 openings.

The application process is fairly simple, provide a CV, images, video, or recording of your work (depending on medium), fill in the application form, and provide 2 brief letters of reference. This application process will prepare you for more extensive applications elsewhere.
