INFORMATION SOUGHT - A small black kitten was found with critical injuries in the Allé Des Arts area of Cap Pele, allegedly hit by a vehicle. Kitten later died of its injuries at veterinary clinic.

Seeking potential witnesses or security camera footage of the incident. If you have any information, please contact the animal protection officer with the file at 506-238-4655.

BREAKING: Together, we changed the law for animals! 🎉
Bill C-16 received Royal Assent last night, strengthening protections for animals harmed as part of interpersonal violence and criminalizing the distribution of animal sexual abuse images. Humane Canada has been working toward this moment for years, and you helped make it happen.

Thank you to everyone who spoke up and to Justice Canada and Minister Fraser for championing this historic legislation.

What an incredible day! Our team at the New Brunswick SPCA was thrilled to join forces with the AMAZING folks from Valley Veterinary Hospital and Oromocto and Area SPCA to volunteer at the Wellness Clinic at Kingsclear First Nation.

Together, we provided care for 20 cats and dogs, including health checks, vaccines, deworming, and flea treatments as needed.

A huge thank you to Dr. Rhonda and Dr. Hannah for their expertise, and to the residents of Kingsclear First Nation for welcoming us so warmly once again. We truly value this partnership and the positive impact it has on both animals and their humans. 🐾

Quelle journée incroyable ! Notre équipe de la SPCANB était ravie de s'associer aux FORMIDABLES membres du Valley Veterinary Hospital et de la SPCA d'Oromocto et des environs pour participer bénévolement à la clinique de bien-être organisée au sein de la Première Nation de Kingsclear.

Ensemble, nous avons pris en charge 20 chats et chiens, en leur proposant des bilans de santé, des vaccins, des traitements vermifuges et antipuces selon les besoins.

Un immense merci aux docteurs Rhonda et Hannah pour leur expertise, ainsi qu’aux résidents de la Première Nation de Kingsclear pour nous avoir une fois de plus accueillis si chaleureusement. Nous apprécions sincèrement ce partenariat et l’impact positif qu’il a tant sur les animaux que sur leurs maîtres. 🐾
