Meet Ofir: a 14-year-old boy who loves animals and the outdoors. 🐕🌳

Ofir’s mom enrolled him in our mentoring program in hopes of connecting him with a positive role model - someone he can share fun experiences and meaningful moments with. 💫

He’s hoping for a Big Brother who is kind, loves animals, and enjoys science, walks in the park, cooking, and baking.

Today, we take a moment to honour the life and legacy of Ralph Harris.

At Big Brothers Big Sisters Fredericton and Oromocto, we had the privilege of recognizing Ralph with our Big Impact Award, celebrating his many years of volunteerism and his incredible commitment to our community.

We were so fortunate to have met Ralph and to have his support, along with five generations of his family, at Bowl for Kids’ Sake 2026. His kindness, generosity, and love for community has made a lasting impact on all of us.

We extend our deepest condolences to Ralph’s family, friends, and loved ones during this difficult time.

Ralph’s memory will continue to live on through the many lives he touched and the community he helped make stronger. We will continue to honour people like Ralph who lead with nothing but love, kindness, and unwavering support for others.

Thank you, Ralph, for the impact you made. You will be deeply missed and never forgotten. ❤️

It’s Waitlist Wednesday!

Meet Lilianne: she is 14 years old, loves being outside, and is happiest when she’s four wheeling, swimming, or spending time with puppies. 💛

Lilianne has spent the past two summers in our Fun While You Wait program, bringing her curiosity and enthusiasm to every activity while eagerly waiting to be matched with her own mentor.

She is hoping for a Big Sister who will explore alongside her and help her build confidence along the way.

Because sometimes, all it takes is one person to change everything. 🌟
