RIEP's Communities Talking project can help Gabriola "see itself", which means our businesses, non-profits and initiatives can access meaningful data that will help us to respond to the needs of this island.

Come, learn and provide your inputs to shape this valuable dashboard for Gabriola!

Curious what's ‘really happening’ in our local economies?

RIEP’s ‘Communities Talking Project’ is building a local Socio-Economic Dashboard for BC’s rural islands – We'd love to show you how it works, and how it could help you, your organization and your community.

Join us for a presentation and live demo:

📅 Mon Oct 19 – 7pm on Zoom
📅 Wed Nov 4 – 12pm on Quadra Island at the Nook (or join via Zoom)
📅 Thu Nov 5 – 12pm on Cortes Island at the Quadra Community Centre in the Yoga Room (in person only)
📅 Thu Dec 3 – 6:30pm on Gabriola Island at the Firehall

Our Gabriola Chamber of Commerce Members’ Mixer at Ravenskill Orchards - Home of Gabbie's C***r this month was such a lovely opportunity to connect, catch up, make new connections and celebrate the people who make our local business community so special.

A heartfelt thank you to our wonderful hosts at Ravenskill Orchards for welcoming us and providing such a beautiful setting for the evening. And thank you to all the generous businesses who donated door prizes - your contributions added an extra bit of fun and helped make the evening truly memorable!

Most of all, thank you to everyone who came out, shared a laugh, made a connection and helped create such a warm and welcoming evening.

Were you there? If not, perhaps it’s time to join the Chamber! Our members get opportunities to connect, network, learn and be part of events like this throughout the year. Come join us!
