🍂 Arcadia’s 2026 Fall Clean-Up begins on Monday! 🍂

🍂 Arcadia’s 2026 Fall Clean-Up is coming up! 🍂

It’s time to clear out those larger household items and get ready for fall clean-up across Arcadia.

📅 Collection dates:
• Cambridge-Narrows & Wickham — Monday October 19
• Waterborough — Tuesday October 20
• Cambridge & Upper Gagetown — Monday October 26
• Gagetown — Tuesday October 27
• Hampstead — Wednesday October 28

A few important reminders before you put your items out:
♻️ Please consider local recycling options for recyclable items before putting them in the garbage.
📦 All waste must be properly bagged, bundled, or boxed. Glass must be placed in a cardboard box and labelled.
🗑️ NEW: If your clean-up date falls on your regular garbage day, please keep your regular garbage bags separate from your “big garbage” items. This will help the extra collection crews manage the larger volume of refuse.
🚫 Items that will not be picked up include fridges, freezers, air conditioners, construction and renovation materials, roof shingles, car parts, and grass cuttings.

♻️ Tuesday Recycling Tip!

Did you know that milk cartons are recyclable?

Milk cartons, broth cartons, egg white containers, and similar packages can all go in your recycling! These containers are considered plastic packaging, so they belong in your blue bin or clear blue plastic bag for collection.

🚧 Road Closure Advisory 🚧

A section of Court House Road in Gagetown will be closed from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 3, 2026 to accommodate the Queens County Fair Car Show taking place during the Queens County Fair.

The closure will run on Court House Road from the front gate of the fairgrounds to the upper gate of the fairgrounds.

The Village of Arcadia has notified NB 511 of the planned closure. Please plan your route accordingly and follow any directions from organizers while in the area.
