Mark your calendars! We have been advised that the Gagetown Ferry will be making its way up the river Monday June 15th! If everything goes well, it will begin service Monday evening, if not, Tuesday morning.

We would like to thank residents, visitors, and local businesses for their patience as we head into another ferry season. We look forward to once again travelling back and forth across the water, connecting our communities, welcoming visitors, and supporting tourism throughout the region.

Make sure to call 511 for any updates or questions regarding the service.

๐Ÿ—บ๏ธ Our 2026 Community Generated Tourism Map is here!

Thank you to the Arcadia ACTivate Group and the many local residents who contributed their ideas, local knowledge, and enthusiasm to help create this year's map.

We believe Arcadia's strength as a place to live is what makes it such a special place to visit, and we invite everyone to explore our community's natural beauty, charm, and unique attractions this season.

๐Ÿ“ Pick up a printed copy at our Visitor Information Center, one of our local businesses or view the high-resolution version below.

๐Ÿข If you're a business looking for copies to display at your location, please email [email protected].

๐Ÿ“Š If you're able, please pick up a map rather than printing your own copy. Tracking how many maps are distributed helps us better estimate demand and plan the right number of maps for next year's edition.

๐Ÿ’ฌ We welcome positive and constructive feedback. Simply click the feedback link or scan the QR code on the map to share your thoughts.

Last evening at Camp Medley, we were joined by members of Council, family, staff, community partners, and residents to mark an important milestone in our community for Arcadiaโ€™s Oath of Office Ceremony.

This ceremony represented more than a formal requirement of governance. It was a public commitment to service, leadership, and stewardship. The oath each member of council took reflects a promise to act in the best interests of the community, to uphold the responsibilities entrusted to them, and to work together respectfully and responsibly on behalf of all residents.

Local government is where decisions are closest to peopleโ€™s daily lives โ€“ the services we rely on, the safety of our neighborhoods, and the future we build together. The work ahead will require collaboration, thoughtful discussion, and a shared commitment to moving Arcadia forward.

We would also like to acknowledge and thank outgoing Mayor Clinton Sharpe and Councillor Paul Mennier for their dedication and contributions over the past term. Public service requires time, energy, and personal sacrifice, and their efforts are sincerely appreciated.

Congratulations to our Mayor and members of Council on officially taking the Oath of Office.

Last night marked the beginning of a new council term and a new chapter for Arcadia. While each member brings different experiences, perspectives, and priorities, you now share a common responsibility: to serve the community with integrity, respect, and dedication.

Administration looks forward to working alongside Council to support informed decision-making, deliver services to residents, and help advance the vision and goals of this community.

We would also like to thank the families, friends, staff, and residents who continue to support local government and civic engagement. Strong, resilient communities are built not only by elected officials, but by the people who contribute their time, ideas, and care every day.

To our newly elected and returning members of council: Congratulations! You have earned the trust of your community, and we look forward to supporting you in the important work ahead.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for this special occasion. We wish Council every success in the term ahead.

Thank you to Strawberry Gables Marketing for the incredible photos!
