To significantly improve entrepreneurial and community development on Galiano Island. To assist Galiano individuals, businesses and non-profits in the development of enterprises that are socially, environmentally and economically sustainable year round by providing a shared, multipurpose office, work and meeting space and through fostering collaborative projects and partnerships both locally and regionally

The "Experience" initiative will enable the development of a system of major trails and water routes interconnecting communities, events, amenities and supporting businesses throughout the Islands and is expected to be a catalyst for community and economic development. TEDx Galiano Island

Created in the spirit of TED’s mission, “ideas worth spreading,” the TEDx program is designed to give communities, organizations and individuals the opportunity to stimulate dialogue through TED-like experiences at the local level. TEDx events are fully planned and coordinated independently, on a community-by-community basis. TED is a nonprofit devoted to Ideas Worth Spreading.
