May first was certainly
A red letter day
When seniors got together
Doing things their own way

There was Mah-jongg and Chess
Trivia too
A table for painting
So much to do

Crocheting and knitting
Who could ask for more
Coffee and sweet treats
And laughter galore

Mondays, Wednesdays
And Fridays we’re there
One to four PM
Come pull up a chair

We had to make a decision
What to call our group
Something that would suit us
Our happy little troop

We looked around the room
Trying to make a choice
Look at all those wrinkles
Came a rather husky voice

It was decided in a moment
“The Wrinkle Room” it would be
And it is so appropriate
Or so it seems to me

So please come and visit us
Just show up with a wrinkle or two
And you will fit right in with the crowd
We will be waiting just for you !
