🧡 Orange Shirt Day 🧡
Today, we recognized Orange Shirt Day and the message that Every Child Matters. Students and staff wore orange, while classes participated in read-alouds, discussions and activities throughout the day.
Mrs. McCord led some of our Grade 5/6 students in sharing a song accompanied by drumming during our school assembly.

Our school came together for the Terry Fox Walk! Mrs. McFarland’s class kicked things off with a presentation and warm-up before we headed outside.
Thank you for sending in a Toonie for Terry!

A huge thank you to our friends at Gananoque Home Hardware Building Centre and Furniture for being such longtime and consistent supporters of Linklater Public School!
Home Hardware has helped us kick off the school year in so many ways. They generously donated lunch kits and water bottles for our students, and most recently, when we reached out looking for buckets for our music program, they came through once again with a donation of 30 buckets!
We are incredibly fortunate to have community partners who continue to step up and support our students and school.

We’ll be walking and running together as a school this Friday in honour of Terry Fox!

Students are invited to bring a Toonie for Terry in support of the Terry Fox Foundation. Together, we’ll honour Terry’s courage, determination and incredible legacy. ❤️
