Each year, Council hosts a Pre-Budget Consultation to hear from residents, organizations and community partners before finalizing the municipal budget.

The consultation is an opportunity to share funding requests, project ideas or general input for Council’s consideration. In-person presenters will have 15 minutes and may bring supporting materials or a slideshow.

Those who are unable to attend can submit a written proposal online, by email at [email protected], or in person at Town Hall.

Gander’s housing supply continues to grow, with 136 new units reported over the first two years of the Housing Accelerator Fund program. This includes 95 units in Year 2 (42 per cent above the annual target).

From single-family homes and duplexes to apartments and secondary suites, these additions provide more housing options for current and future residents as the Town works toward its overall program target of 200 units.
