An update on the water from the local drinking water supply station. The water is running clear but has to be sent to St. John's then on to Halifax for thorough testing. This could take up to a period of two to three weeks. The town apologizes for this inconvenience. In the meantime residents can go to the hotel to get two 4 litre bittles as needed per day. Thank You.

At this time we are still waiting on the results that were sent for testing for the local water supply station. The water right now is not to the liking of our maintenance. This water could be like this for another two to three days. The water will be checked periodically over the next two days. The town apologizes for any inconvenience. Further updates will be posted on this page.

The Town Council will be having a call for nominations to fill the three vacant seats on April 29 and April 30th between 9 A.M. to 4 P.M. on both consecutive days. If there are more than three names to come forth there will be a bi election on May 13th.
