We were delighted to welcome Dina Stevens, Executive Director of the Federation of Ontario Public Libraries - FOPL, and Michelle Arbuckle, Executive Director of the Ontario Library Association, to Halton Hills Public Library!

Thank you for taking the time to tour our beautiful spaces, connect with staff, and see firsthand the impact public libraries have in our communities. We are grateful for your leadership, advocacy, and commitment to being strong voices for libraries across Ontario.

Applications are now open to join the Halton Hills Public Library Board!

In this video, Board member Erica shares how joining the Board gave her the opportunity to learn more about her community, have a seat at the table and help support a place that brings people together.

Like many people considering Board service, Erica wasn’t sure at first what skills she needed to contribute. What she found was a welcoming group that values different perspectives, encourages learning and works together to make a difference.

As Erica puts it, “Everybody has a voice in the community. And so you might as well put yours to good use.”
