The Women’s Entrepreneurship Knowledge Hub (WEKH), in partnership with CIBC Business Banking, has officially launched the 2026 CIBC Biz Pitch Competition.

The competition is designed to celebrate and accelerate Canadian entrepreneurship by recognizing innovative businesses at ever stage, from promising student entrepreneurs and early-stage startups to established, high-growth companies. In addition, to competing for cash prizes participants can gain expert coaching and national recognition.

The competition features four award categories:

• Entrepreneurial Success Story of the Year - $20,000 CAD
• Start-Up of the Year - $10,000 CAD
• Promising Student Entrepreneur of the Year - $10,000 CAD
• Most Popular Vote - $5,000 CAD

Applications are open until August 31, 2026.
