GRYN Youth Centre

GRYN Youth Centre This is a free, fun and respectful space for those 12-18. Drop-in: pool table, WIFI, fooseball table, lounge space, music, art and games! Snacks and refreshment.

Lots of activities. Maker Space available: sewing machine, paint, and clay. Drop-in: WIFI, pool table, fooseball, computers, music, movie projector and more! The Golden Youth Centre exists to create and enhance opportunities for youth lead by youth in the community. Youth are empowered by engaging in the planning of programs, maintaining and supporting their centre. Youth will have the opportunity

to participate in safe, cultural, educational and fun activities that do not already exist in the community. This involvement enhances skills important to positive development such as civic engagement, leadership and efficient communication while strengthening their sense of ownership and belonging. We will build working relationships with the community, in turn the community will become more aware of youth priorities and have an avenue to engage with youth in a meaningful way.
