Since 2019, the Torngat Wildlife and Plants Co-Management Board has partnered with the Nunatsiavut Government to monitor moose populations across Nunatsiavut. This year, we’ve successfully classified moose populations around Hopedale, Postville, and Makkovik. These efforts help support informed wildlife co-management and stewardship in the region.

We look forward to sharing the full survey results soon, stay tuned for updates!
