Happy Canada 🇨🇦 day
The last few weeks have been very busy, and we are very thankful. Unfortunately with busy times come lots of no shows! Please if you book a taxi and don’t need it call to cancel. if you are not going to make it on time please call and let us know! We have had so many people book by emails and messages in advance and when they day comes they are not even in the province. Going forward if you book on email or phone in advance you will be required to make payment at least one week before travel to confirm to hold your seat! If you do not cancel 24 hours before travel there will be no refunds. Our pick up times are approximately 6 am in fortune and approximately 620 in grand bank. 7 (or little before) in marystown, these times are approximate as it depends on his pick ups and amount of people. You must be ready as most days we are on a tight schedule for appts and flights. Most times the driver will call but not always! So if you are supposed to be picked up at a meeting address please answer your phone. If you haven’t heard from driver you can call him at 682-5142. In St. John’s pickup times can vary from 11-12 on weekends 1-130 weekdays. If you need to cancel the office number is 709-832-0491

It has been brought to my attention that people are va**ng on the bus! This will not be tolerated. If you are caught va**ng on any of our vehicles you will be asked to exit the bus! You wouldn’t light a cigarette on the bus so same rule applies for va**ng.
FYI -Va**ng is prohibited in all indoor public places, such as restaurants and workplaces. Public transportation.

It’s that time of year, we have a lot of questions regarding our schedule for the summer. Footes taxi operates from fortune to St. John’s daily. Pickup in fortune is approximately 6 am, and pick up in St. John’s approximately 1-130 pm. The price is $70 per person one way, We unfortunately do not connect with the St Pierre ferry schedule. In the past couple of years the ferry had a ferry leaving fortune at 7 pm on occasion, we have connected with that one. You would need to contact the ferry office for their schedule. Booking one week in advance is fine to ensuree a seat, but we only take bookings a maximum of 1 month in advance. To make a reservation please call 709-832-0491 between the hours of 7 am- 10 pm . As always if you book a seat and need to cancel please call and let us know asap. We are hoping for a busy summer and look forward to meeting new and returning customers 🙂

🚨🚨As much as I hate to do this, I have held off as long as I could. given the price of gas, we have no choice but raise our prices. Starting Monday April 6th our prices will increase by $10. $70 from grand bank/fortune/ marystown. $55 from goobies. It’s been $60 now years, like everything prices have to go up to keep with the rising costs. I know it’s not a good time everyone is suffering with all the increases and I wish more than anything we could keep going with the same rates. Unfortunately if we want to keep this service going we have no choice.
