Clifford Small, Coast of Bays - Central - Notre Dame Clifford Small, Central Newfoundland Clifford grew up in Wild Cove, White Bay and graduated from Beothuk Collegiate in Baie Verte in 1988. since 2013.

He graduated Electrical Engineering Technology, CONA, with the Award of Excellence in 1992. After spending the next couple years working in engineering design consulting in St. John's and in Victoria, BC., Clifford returned to his family’s fishing enterprise in 1994. As Captain, he would expand the enterprise into new industries and pursue offshore crab, shrimp, and seal until 2002. He was a stay

home dad for two years while preparing to open Smitty's Restaurant in Mount Pearl. Between 2005 and 2015, Clifford successfully opened and operated three Smitty’s restaurants. He currently employs 50 people and he has been a sitting member of the Menu and Marketing committee with Smitty's Canada Inc. Clifford has two children, William (22) and Victoria (20). He is an Honorary Rotarian, and in his free time he is an avid gardener, an outdoorsman and downhill skier. Clifford has excelled as a proven leader in diverse industries and understands the value of working with others to get things done. He is happy to be a part of the Conservative team that moves Canada forward.
