I just want to thank everyone for the amazing support one more time! I've been out there doing my homework, talking to so many people,enjoying every minute of it. We had our first forum with all candidates and I'm self critical but was told by many it went well.
I just want to make a difference in our city. No sugar coating, no beating around the bush. We need some new ideas and refreshing outcomes within our city council and I know I'm one of those that can do that.
You can vote early on Oct 8 at city hall all day or on the 18th at your polling station in your area . Thank you again ! This has been an amazing experience to date !

Just wow ! I've been getting so many emails on what my intentions are if elected into council . Many people that I have not met before have been popping by the lanes to say hi and tell me that they are very happy with my forum.Some have even said but you don't have a platform! I do, I'm just not making any promises that I don't know for certain I can't keep.,but I will always do what is morally right.
Look it , I'm just an ordinary average guy that wants to be a voice for you .I know I can make a difference once I'm in there. I am starting to make plans to visit certain charities in the next couple of weeks to show them why my interests lie with them.

I sent the following to the mayoral candidates but would also like to hear your opinion on this matter:



As the daughter and long term employee of a local business owner I have a question regarding your opinion on shopping local, more importantly on the City of Grande Prairie shopping locally. There has been an increase in the focus on supporting local business since the beginning of the pandemic with the city even promoting it in the local media. Our company was founded in 1992 and has been Grande Prairie’s only locally owned and operated supplier of commercial and industrial cleaning supplies and equipment for almost 30 years. We had a long standing relationship with the City of Grande Prairie, for many years we were a trusted supplier for most of the facilities and had a great working relationship with the facility managers and staff. About 10 years ago the city changed their purchasing direction and since then has been purchasing these supplies from Staples. It was a great disappointment to us to see this switch, the revenue from DNI is filtered back into the community through company purchases, sponsorships, etc plus our staff wages are spent locally supporting other Grande Prairie businesses and facilities. When the City of Grande Prairie purchases from a large enterprise like Staples the revenue generated supports their head office in Ontario with only a few staff members located in Grande Prairie, I am interested in hearing your opinion on this matter.

Good morning! So as I have said in the past , I will vote according to what is decided on by Grande Prairie, I realize I am only one voice but I can and will represent many!I will always follow my instincts that I believe alot of us share in this city. We can't all think the same,it's impossible but even as we think differently on the same issues in the end we still want the same outcome ! We just take different avenues.
On that note on the other side of my platform lies social issues that I have always had an interest in my entire adult life. The St.Lawrence Centre which basically supports the homeless with the services they need .
The Grande Prairie Youth Emergency Shelter, Centre for Young Parents ,Odyssey House. These are where I will start but my passions are far deeper then that !
Your support has been amazing and I look forward to representing all of you in the future!!

Hi everyone ! I'm so excited to be running for city council! The support has already been overwhelming and in the next couple of days I will follow up from my bio with my intentions if elected into council.After signing on the dotted line about 2 weeks ago it was an instant whirlwind and the media was basically on me the same day looking for my story!
Going to my first election forum after the whirlwind was over was very educational for me.I learned so much in that 90 minutes that I can and will move forward with.
Please remember that my interests and my intentions will always put Grande Prairie first! If there is some type of vote happening in council that is put out to the public I will vote on it based on your reactions .Not based on what I'm feeling !
