We had a fantastic time yesterday connecting with other local agencies, community partners, and community members!

Events like these remind us how important it is to work together, build relationships, and make sure people know about the programs, services, and supports available right here in our community.

A huge thank you to the Grande Prairie Friendship Centre for hosting such a wonderful event and bringing our community together! 💙

Grande Prairie Dignity Drive

✨🩲 BENEFICIARY HIGHLIGHT ✨🧦
Canadian Mental Health Association, Alberta Northwest's Mobile Addictions Outreach provides street level front line services to the people of Grande Prairie experiencing homelessness, substance addictions and mental health issues. The MAO staff provide one to one service through referrals and cold calls they receive from the community. They work closely with other agencies within our community.

MAO staff are also involved in purveying Housing First, Alberta Works, treatment applications and medical/psychiatric appointments. Including, access to food, clothing and transportation. Supported by Alberta Health Service.

To donate you new socks and underwear to help this and 7 other beneficiaries please stop by Costco, Keddies, Edwards Factory Outlet, Giant Tiger, Bonnetts Energy Centre, Centre 2000, or The Prairie Mall, before November 8th!

We’re inviting local businesses, community groups, families, and individuals to take part in our Silver Linings Tree Auction in support of CMHA Alberta Northwest Region’s Snowflakes & Silver Linings Gala.
Sponsor or purchase a themed Christmas tree, decorate it as a package or gift experience, and have it displayed at the gala as part of our silent auction. Proceeds will support local mental health and recovery programs right here in our community.
