🏊 Planning a visit to Eastlink Centre this weekend?

While we are welcoming approximately 400 athletes, coaches, officials and spectators for the Swim Alberta Summer Festival, there are still plenty of opportunities to enjoy the aquatics area.

🏊‍♀️ Good news for early swimmers! Fit Swim will be available Saturday and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

🛟 Public swim time slots will begin at 1 p.m. each day, with access to the lazy river, water slides, wading pool, splash park, 25-metre program pool, family hot tub, sauna and steam room.

⛔ The 50-metre competition pool and adult hot tub will be closed to the public until 7:30 p.m. on Sunday, June 14.

Regular aquatics access resumes at 7:30 p.m. on Sunday.

Using the support and resistance of water, this low-impact class helps improve:

Youth Power Basics: Train for Sport is a beginner-friendly weight training class designed to help youth athletes develop the fundamentals needed for long-term athletic success.

Participants will learn:
✔ Proper lifting techniques
✔ Safe weight room fundamentals
✔ Strength and coordination development
✔ Movement patterns that support speed, balance and power in sports

Whether you play on the field, court or ice, or you’re completely new to strength training, this class provides a supportive environment to build confidence and improve athletic performance.

Water Ready Grande Prairie is designed to help participants develop practical skills for open water environments like lakes, rivers and boating areas.

Whether you're a parent, grandparent, teen or outdoor enthusiast, you'll learn valuable techniques that could help keep you and your loved ones safer this summer.

🏊 Aquatics at Eastlink Centre will have modified access June 12-14 as we host the Swim Alberta Summer Festival, welcoming approximately 400 athletes, coaches, officials and spectators.

🕒 Public swim time slots (100 guests per time slot)
Friday:
1 to 3 p.m. | 3 to 5 p.m. | 5 to 7 p.m. | 7 to 9:30 p.m.
Saturday:
1 to 3 p.m. | 3 to 5 p.m. | 5 to 7 p.m. | 7 to 8:30 p.m.
Sunday:
1 to 3 p.m. | 3 to 5 p.m. | 5 to 7:30 p.m.

✅ Available during public swim:
• Family hot tub
• Wading pool and splash park
• Water slides
• Lazy river
• 25-metre program pool
• Sauna
• Steam room

⛔ Please note:
• Adult hot tub closed June 12-14
• 50-metre competition pool closed from 7 p.m. on June 11 until 7:30 p.m. on June 14
• Water Polo cancelled June 11 and 14
• Deep End Energy and Move Well Aqua classes cancelled June 12

⏱️ Guests can arrive at any time during a time slot if space allows. If capacity is reached, entry may be paused until space becomes available or guests can return for the next available time slot.
