Success, leadership, family, fitness, community.

While those things may look different for everyone, one thing remains the same. Mental health requires attention and effort.

In this Men's Mental Health Month video, Josh Boyne - Remax Grande Prairie shares some of the habits and routines he relies on to support his mental health and well-being. He also speaks honestly about what happens when those habits start to slip.

For Josh, staying active and making time for the gym is an important part of maintaining balance. When life gets busy and those healthy routines begin to fall away, he notices the impact.

His message is a reminder that mental health is not just about how we respond when things go wrong. It is also about the habits we build to help us stay strong when life gets challenging.

Our hearts are with the JDA family during this incredibly difficult time.

For many years, the JDA family has been an important part of our community, always willing to lend a hand, support others, and make a positive difference. As they navigate this heartbreaking loss, we want them to know they are surrounded by the care and support of a community that is grieving alongside them.

We extend our deepest condolences to their family, friends, and all those affected by this tragedy. Let us come together with compassion, kindness, and support for everyone who is mourning.

One of the biggest misconceptions about men's mental health is that men simply do not want to talk.

The reality is often very different.

Many men will talk when they feel safe enough to do so.

Many men will talk when they know they will not be judged.

Many men will talk when someone creates the space and gives them permission to have the conversation.

That is why Tough Enough To Talk About It exists.

The program is not about forcing conversations. It is about creating environments where honest conversations can happen naturally.

We have seen it time and time again. Presentations end, but the conversations continue. People stay behind. Coworkers check in with one another. Leaders begin talking differently about mental health.

Sometimes the most important thing we can do is create the space.

June is Men's Mental Health Month.

Su***de remains one of the leading causes of death for Canadian men and is the second leading cause of death for many younger men between the ages of 15 and 39.

Behind every statistic is a son, father, brother, friend, coworker, teammate, or neighbour.

The reality is that too many men are struggling in silence.

That is why conversations matter.

That is why connection matters.

That is why programs like our Men's Support Group, Men's Shed initiative, and Tough Enough To Talk About It exist.

If there is a man in your life you have been meaning to check in on, make today the day.

A simple conversation could mean more than you realize.

There are a lot of events in our community.

Chair Extraordinaire is different.

It is not just a night out. It is a night that stays with you.

The stories shared, the chairs created, the conversations that start in that room all carry forward into our community in ways you may never fully see.

It is where awareness becomes action.

Where connection turns into support.

Where people leave thinking a little differently about the role they play in someone else’s life.

That impact does not happen on its own.

It happens because sponsors choose to be part of it.

Their support helps fund programs, education, and resources that people rely on all year long. It helps create spaces where someone can reach out, where someone can be heard, where someone does not feel alone.

We are currently looking for sponsors who want to be part of something meaningful.

If that is you, we would love to connect.
