It was a beautiful afternoon full of fun games, yummy food, and great company.

Huge thank you to New Horizon Co-operative, Buy-Low Foods, and Safeway for donating food items to the event. And to Dream Dance Circus for sharing their balloon animal talents with us!

Yesterday afternoon, clients from various MPCSSN programs came together at our Downtown Grande Prairie Service Hub to enjoy delicious food, refreshing smoothies, and, most importantly, each other's company.

Whether it's sharing a meal, a laugh, or simply spending time together, these moments of connection help foster belonging, build friendships, and strengthen our community.

The MPCSSN Lyra Supported Independent Living program supports youth as they build the skills and confidence needed for adulthood. Each month, we host a series of hands-on activities that give participants the opportunity to learn practical life skills, connect with peers, and grow in a supportive environment.

Just like the moon, we all go through phases of growth—but the full moon reminds us of what is possible when we step completely into our own light 🌕

The Mountain Plains Community Services Society of the North Luna Program is built on that exact premise. Designed for adults navigating disability services, Luna supports individuals as they build the daily living skills, budgeting habits, and personal goals needed to shine bright and live independently.

Growth doesn't happen overnight. It takes time, practice, and the right environment. Tonight, as you look up at the full moon, remember that every step forward is part of your journey toward completion.
