Our 18 schools proudly provide public education to over 8,800 students in Northwestern Alberta, Canada. Grande Prairie Public School Division is a rapidly growing school jurisdiction located in Northwestern Alberta, Canada. With an ever-growing student population of approximately 8,500 students, GPPSD strives to create inclusive learning environments where every student succeeds. The Division is h

ome to 18 schools, Preschool to Grade 12. For everything we decide and do, we will hold ourselves accountable and we will ask:
- Is it good for students?
- Will it help build trust and good relationships?
- Will it help us improve?
- Is it a responsible thing to do?
- Are we open, honest and ethical? We welcome your comments as a means of sharing your own experiences, suggesting improvements or joining in on the conversation. To keep our page focused, we have set comment guidelines:

1. This page is moderated and all comments are reviewed by GPPSD Communications Department.

2. To ensure exchanges that are informative, respectful of diverse viewpoints and lawful, we will not allow comments that are or include:
- Off Topic. We will delete comments not related to the subject of the page entries.
- Spam. Comments focused on selling a product or service will not be posted.
- Personal Attacks. If you disagree with a post, we'd like to hear from you. We do ask that you refrain from personal
attacks or being disrespectful of others.
- Illegal. Laws that govern use of copyrights, trade secrets, etc., will be followed.
- Language. Comments including but not limited to: profane or provocative language, hateful, racially or ethnically
offensive or derogatory content, threats, obscene or sexually explicit language will be deleted.
- Links to outside websites. We will not allow fans to include links to websites for any purpose.

3. GPPSD social media accounts are not meant to circumvent regular communication channels for sharing personal issues & concerns. While the division makes every effort to respond to direct questions in a timely manner, comments regarding a personal issue with the divison or a school staff member will be removed. Check out this amazing playhouse that was designed, built, and donated to the Centre for Young Parents Grande Prairie by the talented students at Grande Prairie Composite High School in support of their Playhouse Raffle.

Welcome to The Critter Cottage, an adorable pet-inspired playhouse created with creativity & care. Designed, built, and donated by the talented students at Grande Prairie Composite High School, this playhouse showcases imagination, teamwork, and community coming together in a big way. A huge thank you to the students and staff at GP Composite High School, along with the generous support of Wayne Building Products GP ltd, Nelson Lumber Grande Prairie, Modern Decore Carpet One, andHome Hardware Building Centre - Woodland for contributing materials and helping bring this amazing build to life. This playhouse truly shows what can happen when a community comes together ❤️
