Congratulations to Our New Lieutenants!

Last night, Greenview Fire-Rescue Services proudly recognized two members of Station 32 - Grovedale as they were promoted to the rank of Lieutenant.

Congratulations to Lieutenant Jade Lypkie and Lieutenant C.J. Wesloski on this well-earned achievement.

This promotion reflects their dedication, professionalism, and commitment to serving both their fellow firefighters and the residents of Greenview. As Lieutenants, they will take on expanded leadership responsibilities, helping mentor members, lead emergency operations, and continue building a strong culture of training and teamwork within our organization.

Please join us in congratulating C.J. and Jade as they don their red helmets and begin this next chapter with Greenview Fire-Rescue Services.

Grovedale FD is on scene of an accident south of Grande Prairie on hwy 40 and southbound lanes are currently shutdown for now, please find alternate routes(as per rcmp release) and follow directions of emergency responders.
GPTSR and Grovedale FD boats are on the river working downstream of the Wapiti bridge. Please avoid the area if possible.
If you are out and see anything unusual please call 911 or RCMP.

Today, we’re celebrating all the amazing moms, grandmothers, stepmoms, foster moms, and mother figures in our communities.

From the moms who keep things running at home, to the ones responding to emergencies, volunteering in our stations, supporting firefighters behind the scenes, and raising the next generation — thank you for everything you do.

Emergency services often means missed dinners, late nights, weekends away, and unpredictable calls. The support, patience, and strength shown by families — especially moms — never goes unnoticed.

On behalf of Greenview Fire-Rescue, we wish everyone a safe, happy, and well-deserved Mother’s Day. ❤️🚒
