These beautiful birdhouses were donated by Al Fournier and we will be doing a Silent Auction to find them new homes…highest bid at 12pm wins each birdhouse …funds go towards the library programs.

“Do you have a story to share about Lake Babine or the Village of Granisle?

The Village of Granisle is working together with the Tachet community to strengthen relationships through story telling. We are gathering stories about important places, events and people. If you would like to share a story, please send a brief note with the story topic and reason(s) why this is an important story to share to the project manager, Suzanne Denbak at [email protected]. If your story is selected, you will be contacted for more details. We are also gathering stories through the Better at Home program in which we are connecting Elders with youth who serve as scribes. A donation will be made to Better at Home to support their outreach and Elders’ lunches on completion of this story gathering project. The stories will be made available at the the Library as well as the Granisle Visitor Centre. "
