Fire & Burn Hazard: Secura has recalled several air fryers due to a faulty wire connection that can overheat, posing fire and burn hazards.

If you own any of the affected products, stop using them immediately and register them with Secura for reimbursement.

Recall Alert: Fire Hazard: Vornado has recalled their small room Tower Heaters with model code “TYPE SRTH” for potential overheating and fire hazards. The internal fan can displace, and it does not have adequate thermal safety measures to prevent ignition.

If you own the affected products, immediately discontinue use and contact Vornado Air for a refund.

Recall Alert: Fire & Burn Hazard: Wyze Solar Cam Pan outdoor security cameras have been recalled for hazards relating to their lithium-ion batteries. Incorrect assembly instructions may lead consumers to puncture the battery, causing rapid overheating and posing a fire hazard.

If you own the affected products, immediately discontinue use and contact Wyze for a refund.

The fire danger rating for Gravenhurst is now MODERATE. With the recent rain, the ground has had a chance to absorb some moisture ultimately lowering he rating. Keep in mind there is still no daytime burning between 8am and 6pm and always fully extinguish your fires before leaving them.

The Gravenhurst Fire Department would like to thank the Nolan Young Memorial fund and the Gravenhurst Home Hardware for the generous donation of 70 carbon monoxide alarms. These alarms will help many families stay protected from the dangers of Carbon Monoxide.
