I am sitting here this morning and reading my online newspapers and wondering if there would be any interest in a chess club at the Gravenhurst Seniors Activity Centre. I don't know what day or time would be best but I am thinking evening. Perhaps Monday, Tuesday or Friday evening. You do not have to be a Senior to join.
Your comments are welcome and I can then gauge what level of interest there may be. As always you must be a member ($35) and an activity fee of $3 each time you play.

Gravenhurst Seniors Activity Centre is considering a weekday morning Line Dancing class for beginners (to replace an afternoon class) and also a beginners class on a weekday evening. Over time as the program runs these programs will move out of beginner classes. Membership is $35 a calendar year and an activity fee of $6 each time you partake in the class. NOTE: If you join in October 2026 you are eligible for the balance of 2026 and all of 2027. Must be a minimum 16 years of age. If you do have interest in either time slot please indicate which would be your preference. ALSO which day would be your preference. If enough interest is generated we will post here on our FB page. Please follow our FB page for updates and other notices.
