Greater Sudbury Hydro is aware of a power outage affecting businesses and residents at the 1351 Kelly Lake Road complex. Crews have been working overnight to restore power after identifying a fault in an underground cable. There is no estimated time of restoration.

Construction is getting underway on the new Coniston Substation (MS31) at 110 Government Road.

Residents can expect increased construction activity, noise, heavy equipment and truck traffic in the area beginning the week of August 24.

Construction will continue over the coming months as Greater Sudbury Hydro invests in important infrastructure to support safe and reliable electricity service in Coniston.
