Looking for a fun and engaging way to build social skills? Join Behaviour Analysis North for Critical Core, a unique role-playing game program that helps participants develop meaningful social connections through collaborative play.
Critical Core is a role-playing game that encourages cooperation between players as they work together to achieve goals within the game. Guided by a Game Master, participants create characters with unique strengths and abilities and use those skills to collaborate with other players. With a focus on communication, teamwork, perspective-taking, and relationship-building, Critical Core makes learning important social skills both engaging and enjoyable.

📋 Behaviour Analyst Clinic Days 📋
Looking for individualized support to better understand and address your child's behavioural needs? Join Behaviour Analysis North for Behaviour Analyst Clinic Days, an opportunity for caregivers to connect directly with a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA) for guidance and consultation.
During these sessions, BCBAs and caregivers can troubleshoot, problem-solve, and discuss topics of the caregiver’s choice, such as skill building, addressing problem behaviour, or incorporating ABA principles into daily life. Clinic Day consultations are intended to provide general information and support and may not be suitable for severe challenging behaviours or other complex issues. Caregivers are encouraged to come prepared with questions or scenarios to help guide the conversation.

Join FIREFLY for All Things Sensory, an engaging in-person session designed to help parents and caregivers of autistic children and youth better understand and support sensory processing needs.
This service provides families with practical skills and strategies for navigating sensory processing challenges. Participants will have the opportunity to connect with an Occupational Therapist, ask questions, and learn about different sensory processing needs, sensory supports, where to purchase helpful items, and how to create simple sensory tools at home.
A variety of activities will be available for children and youth who attend, making this a welcoming experience for the whole family. Meals and refreshments will be provided.

🌿 Self-Care Break for Caregivers – While Your Child Builds Resiliency! 🌿
MNDFL Collective is excited to collaborate with Kim Boyuk, a local certified yoga instructor, to offer this supportive and restorative monthly event specifically designed for caregivers. This unique program provides a safe space to unwind, recharge, and cultivate mindfulness while prioritizing your own health and well-being.
Parenting a child with autism comes with unique challenges, and these sessions are designed to give caregivers an opportunity to take a break from daily stressors and participate in gentle, restorative yoga suitable for all bodies and abilities. While caregivers enjoy a moment for themselves, children with autism will work with clinician Gabriela Ron on improving emotional awareness and building a coping skills toolkit.
