Sudbury Manitoulin Children's Foundation The "Send-A-Kid To Camp" Program was established in 1984 to provide disadvantaged children aged 5-14 with the opportunity to attend summer camp.

The Sudbury Manitoulin Children’s Foundation is a registered charitable organization that provides opportunities to underprivileged youth in the Sudbury, Manitoulin and surrounding districts. Children are referred to our program by various local social agencies that feel the child would benefit from this type of experience. Some parents cannot afford the luxury of sending their child to camp, and

some children live in violent or abusive households. With this program, children who otherwise don't have the opportunity to enjoy such an experience, get to live out the fun, freedom and excitement that summer camp brings. "Send-A-Kid To Camp" allows these kids to just be kids!

We’re excited to explore a potential collaboration with professional long-drive competitor Matt Kindou for our Chip-In FORE Children Golf Tournament!

With an incredible longest drive of 445 yards, Matt could bring an exciting experience to participating golfers, including the possibility of hitting tee shots for groups and offering qualifying teams the chance to compete for the Ultimate Muskoka Golf Getaway.

To help make this collaboration possible, we need more teams to register for the tournament! Gather your colleagues, friends, or business partners and join us for a meaningful day of golf, networking, and community impact.

📢 We’re looking to connect with more overnight camps in Northern Ontario! 🏕️

Each year, we receive a large number of Send A Kid to Camp referral forms from families looking to give their children the opportunity to experience summer camp. While we are grateful for the camps we currently work with, the number of available spaces we receive each year is limited and fills up very quickly.

We are hoping to expand our network by connecting with additional overnight camps in Northern Ontario, as well as camps that offer transportation/bussing options to and from the Sudbury area.

If you know of an overnight camp that may be interested in partnering with us, or if you have recommendations for camps we should connect with, we would love to hear from you!
