Last night our team responded to a call of a woman in active labour at her residence. Fire crews had already forced entry to ensure access, and paramedics arrived shortly after. Within minutes of their arrival, a healthy baby was delivered safely in the family’s living room.

While EHS led the medical response, we were proud to provide support, scene security, and ensure pets within the house were cared for.

Calls like this are a reminder of the important roles of all first responders.

Congratulations to the family on their new arrival.

A search warrant was executed at an address on Parker Mountain Road as a result of an investigation into several break and enters to the Port Royal Branch Legion.
Officers from the Military Police, the RCMP and the Annapolis Royal Police Service in a co-ordinated effort were able to recover items taken during the break and enters.
At no time was there a threat to public safety.
