What’s your go-to holiday greeting: classic “Merry Christmas,” “Happy Holidays,” or something totally original?

What’s one small tradition that instantly makes the season feel real for you?

The holiday season is basically a global language of connection, lights in dark evenings, shared food, familiar songs, and little rituals that remind us we’re not doing life alone. It’s also a time when we’re constantly talking, greeting neighbours, catching up with family, meeting new people, and sometimes fumbling our way through it. That’s precisely why it’s a perfect time to sharpen something simple but powerful: how we show up and communicate.

Tonight at Grimsby Toastmasters, our theme is Holiday Greetings! Expect warm conversation, a few laughs, and a supportive space to practise speaking in a way that feels like you, not like a script.
