PRSD is a public school division located in northern Alberta that serves over 3000 students and employs over 500 staff in 21 schools. Students in Peace River School Division (PRSD) are offered high quality educational opportunities in safe and caring schools. We focus on student learning and success and believe that every student has unique gifts, talents and their own way of learning. In addition

to a focus on core programming, we offer a variety of fine Arts programs, career and technology studies, special education services, second language studies as well as a broad variety of extracurricular and sports programs that make PRSD a first choice for students. We believe it takes a village to raise a child and that education is everyone’s business. It is proven that students do better when parents and community are involved in their education. We welcome your involvement and invite you to contact your local school or the divisional office to learn of ways you can become involved. In 2025, the NHL Foundation chose Impact Society to bring mental health and resilience programming to youth in Northern Alberta. Grimshaw, Alberta, a small, predominantly Indigenous community in the north, was selected as the home for this investment. The impact speaks for itself.
