Remember that beautiful sunny day way back at the end of summer, er, last Saturday? We celebrated our Popcorn and Prizes in the Park, and had such a great time crafting and playing games, and helping people find books to take home. Many thanks to all our visitors. (Especially the visitors who became volunteers, and helped with clean up!)

Miss Danielle has been busy planning, and we can tell you that Book Buddies will begin on Monday, September 14. The first session is six weeks long, and it's going to be a "Harvest Hoedown," with fall colours, and farming, and a few other things. She didn't say anything specifically about square-dancing, but you just never know... Registration is open now.

It's been a great couple of weeks for new books entering the collection. From large print to picture books, and non-fiction on all sorts of topics, we know you'll find something that catches your eye.👀

We got the word, so now we can share that Kristina Olsen, a superb multi-instrumentalist as well as an award-winning songwriter with a big bluesy voice, is coming to Grimshaw next month to kick off our Home Routes/Chemin Chez Nous season. They say Kristina has audiences around the world coming back for more, so make your first time a great evening at the library! In partnership with Lac Cardinal Performing Arts.

What's that? An autumn breeze? Nah, just an exciting MZFS announcement! The next Mile Zero Fan Summit will take place on May 15, 2027! We can't wait to see you all!

Popcorn in the Park is picking up! We are here doing crafts, eating snacks, entering draws, playing Plinko, and giving away books until 2 pm today!

Look who is joining the fun on Saturday!🪱🪱🪱 Come and have a look at the worm condo. This would also be a great time to connect with the PRAMP outreach staff about having them visit your group or classroom, too.

Visit is at the Grimshaw Municipal Library North Branch Summer Wrap-Up event on SATURDAY, August 22 starting at 10:00 am! We enjoyed it so much last year we are coming again!
