We had some housepainters here for the All Inclusive Craft this afternoon, but made sure to keep up everyone's strength with mini doughnuts. This program will continue over the summer, so watch for dates and details to come.

Danielle and Carolyn spent the day at the Peace Region Family Resource Network Teddy Bear picnic on Wednesday, and they liked it so much, they are going to be there on Thursday too! Make sure to bring your preschooler to the Baytex in Peace River for all sorts of fun. Kids will enjoy the interactive booths and adults will appreciate finding out about all the services available in our area.

We are about half full for this program, which translates into "There's room for more people!" There is no charge to participate, and light refreshments will be served.

Not wanting to complete the census on the tiny phone screen? You can come here and use our computers instead!

Collection for the 2026 Census is well underway across Canada, and there is still time for Canadians to complete their questionnaires online at census.gc.ca. The online process is confidential and secure.

Census data help municipalities better understand and plan for the needs of their communities, including services and infrastructure related to housing, transportation, emergency services, child care, health care, and community planning. These data support local decision-making and help ensure resources and services are aligned with changing population needs.

For households who have not completed their census or submitted incomplete questionnaires, census employees may follow up in person or by phone. Every census employee will clearly identify themselves and have an identification card.

We went back to the early dayzies 😉 for this month, and decided to feature Dayzie Head Mayzie in our Character Spotlight for June. Kits are available today, and every Saturday this month at the library.🌼

Thanks for patiently waiting for our summer reading program information! The registration links are on our website calendar and in the comments underneath this post, and YES, you are seeing correctly - we have made some changes.
Change one - three age groups instead of two.
Change two - our older kids will be meeting in person at the library, and not picking up the kits at the North Branch like the younger groups.
