A huge thank you to everyone who brought their furry family members out to our Free Dogs Only Swim at the Grimshaw Outdoor Swimming Pool yesterday!

Itโ€™s become such a fun end-of-season annual tradition, and we loved seeing all the happy dogs.

Our ๐—™๐—ฅ๐—˜๐—˜ Dogs Only Swim is happening August 24 from 4:00 - 6:00 PM!

Starting August 17, you can register for a 10 minute slot by calling/texting Tracy at 780-625-9778.

Please note:
โ–ช๏ธOne adult can bring one dog in at a time
โ–ช๏ธOnly dogs allowed in the pool
โ–ช๏ธDogs must have and wear current municipal dog license and vaccination tags
โ–ช๏ธDogs displaying aggression will be asked to leave immediately
โ–ช๏ธOwners must sign a "Dogs Only Swim" waiver to participate
โ–ช๏ธMust use the provided long leash while dogs are in the water

These sessions are designed to promote both physical wellness and social engagement, allowing participants to swim in the water at their own pace in a welcoming and supportive environment.

Swimming is one of the best forms of exercise for older adults. It helps improve cardiovascular health, strengthen muscles, increase flexibility, and enhance balanceโ€”all while placing minimal stress on joints.

For many seniors, the pool becomes more than just a place to exercise. Itโ€™s a place to move freely, regain confidence, feel strong, and enjoy an activity that feels less like a workout and more like a natural part of everyday life.
