Grimshaw Fire Department If you need to report an emergency please call 911. If you are reporting a complaint that requires enforcement, please contact the RCMP or bylaw.

The Grimshaw Fire Department is a volunteer and progressive fire service. We strive to deliver the highest level of service to the residents of Grimshaw, MD of Peace, and our Mutual Aid partners. The office of Fire Chief Lawrence Arnold is located at the Grimshaw Town Hall (5005 53 Ave). Office hours: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday -- 10:00 am to 12:00 pm; and 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm.

October 4-10 2026 was the annual Fire Prevention week.

This year the focus was in continuation of last years Charge into Fire Safety.

Lithium Ion batteries are becoming much more common and are often seen in everyday devices such as phones, computers, e-scooters and e-bikes.

Having safe charging habits with devices that use lithium ion decreases the risk of fire. Do your part to ensure our community remains safe.

It is a day we take to appreciate and thank the local firefighters who give their time to helping keep our community safe.

It is also a day to recognize and appreciate the past firefighters who lost their lives during service.
